kidd parts

I contacted Kidd directly about this situation. They said the two designated Canadian dealers do order from them at times, but thought there must not be enough demand for them to actually stock parts. They did say that there may be a third Canadian dealer soon, but didn't name them. Currently, I think only Dlask has a few Kidd bits, and they are not even listed on the Kidd website as a dealer.
Contact Kidd yourself, and tell them about this problem. Perhaps if they get enough complaints, they will encourage their Canadian "dealers" to keep some stock.

ive never had any problems getting kidd stuff from fabsports.
they even ordered in the stuff i wanted for me.
i dont even think joe brooks carries kidd stuff.

almost all the kidd stuff you can get here are the random items like charging handles, bolt release, vblock, etc that you can get alternatives of in the same quality. i just placed an order with dlask for a build and for the single stage trigger from kidd. from everything i have seen and read the parts that dlask makes in house with the exception of the receivers and barrels are the same quality as kidd. i would have loved to get a full kidd build but its just not possible here. however, from everything i have read if you go with the dlask receiver and barrel with the target chamber it is almost the same quality as what kidd makes (and much better than other companies like TacSol).

while i love Dlask's barrels and receivers and small parts - and i have both brands - the Kidd stuff is a step up.
Kidd stuff is just plain and simply a step up from everyone else in the 10/22 game period.
but thats not to say that you cant build a good gun from Dlask, i have 2 and i will never get rid of them, they are perfect!
and you can get Kidd trigger sets from Dlask.

ive been speaking with Lee at dlask and he said (in the past couple of weeks) that they really don't have too much kidd stuff anymore (the website is out of date on a few things). they only have the single stage triggers (he said that the cost of the 2-stage ones for customers would be $500+ after importing and their share) and a few misc items. i asked about bolts and charging handles/springs and he said that their new ones they are selling now perform at about the same level as the kidd ones from their testing. However, i have no doubt that the kidd receivers and barrels are a step up. dlask really needs to put a rear tang option on their normal receivers. i wouldn't mind paying the extra for that.
