Can KIDD Supergrade receivers / barrels (22LR) be found in Canada? Anyone carry them or can get them? I know some of their other barrels / triggers etc. can be found with some online vendors. Looking to build a nice 10/22 and kind of in the zone of DLASK, Volquartsen, Grey Birch, or KIDD stuff. Really taken with the KIDD Supergrade engineering. Some of the other threaded options etc. are probably good as well. Just seems like KIDD has a lot of barrel options that mate with the Supergrade receiver. If they cannot be found in Canada how hard to get parts like that imported? Or am I wasting my time…..and just should move on? Thanks

I talked to Dlask a while ago about importing some Supergrades and was told it would cost way too much. Best bet is to either build with Kidd parts from Dlask with their receiver or try the Grey Birch and their threaded receiver.

As far as I know no one in Canada carries the KIDD supergrade rifles. You'll probably have to import one. Go to Coolguyguns (KIDD's sales website), build your supergrade to get an idea on price. Then contact some of the companies that can import a rifle from the US, like Prophet River or I Run Guns. For a nice supergrade you are probably looking at $2500cad + import fees + shipping.

Yes, looking strongly at the grey birch system they have now. However, they don’t recommend removing / swapping barrels like you can with the Supergrade system. DLask, I would be all over when their “new” stuff is available.

I have in the last two years built around a dozen. I have purchased the majority of the parts from Dlask. Service was quick and packaging excellent. Their receiver with a Kidd match barrel and Kidd trigger and all other Kidd components including tapped trigger pins will put you on the path of big smiles with every squeeze of the unbeatable Kidd trigger. If you have target shooting experience buy the two stage. If your around south eastern ontario Ill gladly let you try mine out. Theyre impressive when assembled properly. The Volquartsen competition bolt is in a class by itself but a bit pricey.

Any experience with the SBI receivers? I have one of those and a V competition bolt on the way. On the fence about a kid ultralite or Volquartsen Superlite 16.5” threaded barrel. It seems that the lightest version of each brand does not have the same accuracy guarantee.

I dont have any experience with any SBI products. I just had such great results with the Dlask parts that I didnt need to look any farther. The Volquartsen receivers in SS are incredible but heavy and very pricey. You can own 3 plus Dlask receivers for the one VQ.
