Well I received the trigger assembly today from Jo-Brooks and can confirm that it does not fit. Need to either take a small amount off of trigger housing or off of stock. Only need to take a credit card or so thickness off. By the looks of things the trigger housing will be getting filed down but going to talk to Travis first.

Weird... Not sure why that would be, considering it's supposed to be a standard 10/22 inside a Nordic Components chassis. Can you confirm that it'll fit in another 10/22? If not, then maybe it was just an issue with machining... If it does fit in another 10/22, then at least we can try to figure out whether the receiver in the SR-22 varies in some other way. Which SR-22 are you running, and do you have a rough build date (I don't know when they came out)? Might help narrow down the issue if it comes up for other people...

The trigger that came in the SR22 is a standard Ruger trigger. The Kidd trigger is just slightly thicker at the rear as you can see in the picture. It fits in the receiver and operates great other than where it has to slide into the rear stock. I do not have a regular 1022 but I know that others have put one in with no problems. It is just a slight modification that has to be done and don't think it matters when the build date on the SR was.

Ah, right on, I missed that part about the rear stock. I thought it was an issue with it not fitting into the receiver, so I was just trying to clarify what the specifics were on your rifle, in case someone had the same issue in the future and didn't know what the problem was. I wonder if all the Nordic Components chassis have this issue, and if the other brands do too, or if it's specifically the SR-22.

For what its worth, I had no issues with my Kidd 2 stage in my earlier SR-22 (plain muzzle, before the canadian models got the flash hider).

That's interesting. This is a aluminum one stage trigger assembly and the SR I bought first of the year and it has a threaded barrel with adjustable stock if that makes any difference. And talking with Travis there will be no issues with filing trigger housing as far as warranty is concerned.

Finally got around to doing this. Had to file abit more than a millimetre off of the rear trigger guard tang so it would fit under the ridge above the grip. Took all of about a minute or two. Fits great and the trigger works awesome. iPhone pictures not the greatest.
