Peace everyone,

Does anyone know where i can get or order one in canada? I saw precision optics had them before but has been out of stock for a while.

As an alternative Exo Mtn Gear produces a backpack sling also. I have their K2/3 universal one thats been on my Kuiu frame a few times without issue.

I googled the price of a new one and then searched my email for where I bought mine from. There was a bit of sticker shock there.

i have gun bearer lost someplace in my gear totes. from what i remember, they're super simple and would be very easy to make with the correct webbing and strong thread,

It certainly wouldn’t be. Some 500/1000D Cordura and some sewing/seamstress time could easily mimic the Exo K2 variant I have

It can be done without any sewing. Just watch what kind of pouch you get. Most have molle webbing on them. Obviously depending on what pack or belt a fella is running.

The K4 Exo carrier looks to be a better design then the one I have (K2 posted above). The K2 variant is great for a longer walk/hike in or pack out somewhere, but forget trying to get at it quickly. It fits rather snug on the butt pad/heel of the rifles I’ve had in it (R700 & VG2) even after attempting to stretch it out off season by keeping it on a rifle in the safe.

If I were going to replace mine anytime soon it would be something along the line of the K4 pouch design.
 
I like the kifaru gunbearer a lot for solo hunting and bush bashing when sheep hunting, but it really makes me uncomfortable when hunting with a partner because it’s so easy to point a gun at your buddies face, loaded or not
 
I just looked at the k4 exo carrier. Still going for a gun bearer. Its how I like to have my rifle when I trek. K4 looks great for longer distance though. And alot cheaper in cost

Think I paid around $60 TMD, but that was back when conversion was sitting around the $1.20/$1.30 mark
