Kilsworth's worthy suggestion

I met with Kilsworth at the EOHC the other day and he had a hell of a good idea, although it did not sink in for me right away.

He was suggesting an informal milsurp EOHC member gathering once a month. You know, get together, shoot the ####, shoot the paper.

The last Saturday of every month sounds good to me? Anyone else with any suggestion?

It's pretty neat, the price is right, but I don't think I have the patience (or the sandbags) to get into BP shooting........ I may get a flintlock rifle though......very pretty stuff and I think BP target shooting would be a blast.

Range kind of sucks right now with all the careless, unsafe, only-touch-a-gun-once-a-year crowds coming to sight in their rifles. Hopefully the execs will have a sight in day for non-members or something.

Well guys, I was there at about 2:30 and only one other member was on the rifle range. We shoot for about an hour and a half and the left and another guy showed up when I was leaving...

I got a 2-1/4" group with my Mosin Nagant and bell hunting ammo...

The M305 was a freaking nightmare though... :x

Will have a propane heater to keep me warm though, cause I will be shooting all winter.

Starting to plan a Dec 10 or 17th Milshoot.

Hitzy: I hear that on the Flinter! I'm waiting for Marstar to carry more Pedersoli guns as there's a few flint locks they make that I like - alas Marstar has yet to see fit to carry them
