Having a hard time looking for brand new magazines for Kimber 1911 Tactical 2 I have tried looking at SIR but they don't carry any kimber 1911 magazine anymore. Anyone knows where else I can buy them?

Also, is there other brand of magazine fit in Kimber 1911 tactical 2?

I have bought 12 Kimber TacPro mags directly from them. Call the phone number and order that way as their online system doesn't work for Canada.

I would stay away from Kimber brand mags anyways... they are garbage... Wilson Combats and others are the way to go...

I have a Kimber TC II and use Wilson 47d's. I got mine from P&D, but you can get them from Brownells as well, just $100 max order on gun parts due to US export restrictions.

I've had no problems with the Wilson's. Don't use the one the TC II came with, it can damage the feedramp on aluminum frame Kimbers, due to metal follower hitting ramp. If you want a Kimber mag, go with the Kim-Pro Tac mags.
In other words, only use mags with a plastic/composite follower. You can buy a spring and plastic follower kit for the stock Kimber mag and convert it.

Also, the Wilsons I have are 8 shot with raised base.

As you can see, everyone has an opinion, although perhaps some less eloquent than others. The stock Kimber mags do leave something to be desired which is why I specify the Kimber TacPro's as being the better Kimber mag. They also have the advantage of being able to be used with choice of 2 included sized baseplate pads. I have also gotten a few from The Shooting Edge as well as ordering direct.
