You can't go wrong with any Kimber. They run from$1100.00 for a basic model. I have a Tactical Custom II that I got from P&D in Edmonton by Canada Post expedited mail and love it. The whole process took a week to be in my hands. Other dealers are good too but my understanding is that other provinces may take longer to get registration approval from the local CFO.RHall said:I dont know much Kimber handguns but I saw a pic of a Kimber Gold Combat RL II, can anyone recomend a Kimber dealer and about how much would one of these cost?![]()
Sometimes I notice a slight amount of surface oxidation (wipes off with my finger so I won't call it rust) on my TC II around the firing pin hole. A little gun oil on a cue tip and off it comes. Any reasonable amount of cleaning and light oiling will keep your firearm in pristine condition if done on a regular basis. These are working tools and built to get down & dirty and keep on working well indefinately.marlin60 said:A Kimber SS is on my must have list, but I've been reading recently that they are VERY prone to surface rust...especially the barrel..and need to be wiped down regularly...and especially after being handled...just the moisture/oil from your skin can start this process.
Can anyone confirm their experieince.....is this really true?
