Kimber 84M Classic With Select Grade Stocks

I would like to get an opinion on a Kimber my friend is interested in.
What is the Quality of select grade stocks on the Kimbers?
Which Cal is most desirable for deer hunting?
He is looking at 7mm08, 308, 243, and 257 Roberts.
I like 7mm08 but thats just me.

I prefer the 257 Roberts...but that's just me.

Any of those would do just fine.

The Select grade is French Walnut as for the caliber any cal.you mentioned would be fine .

the kimber select is a beautifull rifle. I have one in .243 and love it! There is a nice one on the EE right now in .257 roberts I would buy it but I have a .257 and .257 ai already. The seller is great to deal with too!
