I have a Kimber Adirondack 308 win , with a Leupold VX 11 1.5 X 4 x20 , talley lightweight mounts , sling and 3 rounds of 150 grn it comes in at 5 lbs 13ozs . A pleasure to shoot carry and hunt with .......go light

Also own an Adirondack in 308, big fan of this gun a joy to carry with a Leica ERi 3-12 riding on top of it. For a lightweight gun the recoil is very very manageable and the shot to shot consistency in a hunting scenario has been fabulous. Highly recommended.

These are great rifles. I have a mountain ascent in 6.5 creedmoor and a Montana in 280ai. Both are extremely accurate and a joy to carry.
My biggest tip if buying one though is get it bedded before shooting or reloading for it. It will save you a huge headache from inconsistency. I had inconsistent groups with both rifles but once bedded and a load tailored they both shoot lights out.
It’s a bit of a shame that for the price of these rifles they are not bedded from the factory. Still a great product and my favorite trigger on a factory gun imo

So far I've had my Kimber Mountain Ascent subalpine chambered in 280 Ackley for almost a year and this rifle is very accurate with my hand loads under 1/2 inch groups with 140 grain Barnes ttsx
