I heard on the intranetz that Kimbers suffer from accuracy problems. Wouldn't touch one with my ten-foot pole. Gooogle it.
You can buy three Savages for the price of a Kimber and Savages are proven to shoot into the same hole right out of the box.
Better yet...save up all your allowance and lawn mowing money for a Cooper which is like three times more better than a Kimber.

IWould quit hunting if I had to shoot a savage crude rifles as far as Kimbers I have 4 and will challage any rifle on the accuracy dept and they are certainly hands down finnished much nice than most other rifles . As far as taking it on trade I would allow $1.200.00

I believe the previous poster's comments were tongue in cheek.
I see used ones going in the $1200 range, but I bought a new one for that. Admittedly it was a smoking deal, $1500 to 1600 is more normal. In a general sort of way on an unknown higher end rifle I want to save at least the price of a custom barrel from new price. Worst case scenario I get a rifle that I like with a new "designer" pipe for the price of a new rifle. Otherwise; I better know it well or its hard to find or I'll just buy it new.
