Kimber Pro Carry Takedown

Without knowing what you are doing it would be hard to say.

Are you locking the slide back, inserting the disassembly tool to take pressure off the spring, then taking out the slide stop?

I placed a small pin in the hole were the guide rod go and moving the slide back to the disassembly notch.
But it feel that there is alot of tension still, every time I trying take out the slide stop it won't budge no matter how hard I try.
The guys in the Youtube videos, make it look so easy.

Assuming the slide is lined up properly, jiggle the slide stop up and down while pushing it through. Usually it is pretty stiff on a new gun. This should not be because of spring tension as the slide should move freely once the spring is held captive.

my dad has that exact gun.
im just trying to think back to when i took it down when he got it..... does this one have that 2 piece guide rod that you need to use the Allen key on?
ya it does.
what a pain!

did you watch this video??
