Howdy.
I've had a Kimber Rimfire Target 1911 .22 for quite some time now and am sick of the sights. They are great outside on bright sunny days, but now that we have an indoor range I find that they get completely washed out and I have a hard time acquiring the target.
I am having a hell of a time trying to find what size the rear and front sight cut sizes are. I've tried talking to several places in canada ( Kimber distributors ) and even Brownell's and they cant find out either.
Basically what I am getting at is I want to replace the current sights with some night sights, but cant find anything anywhere. Brownell's suggested finding out what the size of the sight cuts are then they will be able to point me in the right direction.
Too late to call Kimber customer service, so I figured I would try here on the off chance someone else has encountered the same issue.
