A friend of mine would like to buy Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 ACP 3inch

He does have a 12.6. who would sell this?

With a 3" barrel??? Not likely unles you are have a firearms movie license or gov. Do you mean one with a long 106mm barrel sticking out?

viper, the Kimber you want would have to have already been in this country and grandfathered at the time of the barrel law, meaning no new ones will come in after the law, so you'd have to find a guy with his 12.6 who is selling one, but I do not think that the handgun you want was even being made at the time of the laws being made.

Meaning, you can't have one.

Yes - but it would need to be fitted with a 106mm barrel before importation (if I recall).

It would look a bit goofy, in my opinion.

We have custom 106mm Barrels for both the Compact and Ultra Compact Kimbers in stock right now. This means we can import pretty much any of the Kimbers from the US at any time.

Figure the US $ List Price of the gun plus currency exchange and the cost of the 106mm custom barrel (which works out to @ $249 Canadian installed).

Used is no problem but then it's a 3rd party purchase... you would have to make the deal with the US Vendor and pay them... then you arrange with us to handle the import/export, permits, etc. and pay a fee for that... plus pay for the custom barrel and install (they are semi-drop in barrels and need to be custom fit to the slide).

We used to do a lot of Kimber 3rd Party Purchase imports for people... it dropped of the past year but interest has been growing again.
