I ordered this breacher/brake knowing it wouldn't fit my DA 12.5

I didn't want to take it to a machine shop and have them mill it down ($) and I found my step drill at 7/8 was damn near perfect!

I forgot to take a pic but it came out at 0.872 after drilling it.

There is a hole for a set screw in the bottom of the breacher but it wouldn't contact the barrel with the sight post where it was so the hacksaw got some use

Cleaned up

Insertion

Being unfamiliar with silver soldering and not really wanting to weld this thing on I figured set screws and JB weld would probably work so I enlarged the original hole, added 3 more and tapped them.

I drilled in little divots for the set screws to seat into

Test fit. Here you can see the $1.40 worth of set screws

I applied a healthy dose of JB, tightened the set screws down and filed off the excess threads

Black paint makes everything look better.

Added a +1 tube extension which was half the reason I put this thing on

Finished product

I'll go burn a bunch of powder through her and see if it stays on or if it makes any difference in the way it patterns.

very nice job you did witith those parts.
Just an FYI for anyone wanting to do the same thing.
In stead of cutting back the front sight post on the nork, cut a slot of the KA breacher aloweing to go back and pin it via the body of the breacher into the front sight housing.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Even if it costs more I'd rather do a job myself, in this case it worked out in my financial favor... kind of a rarity.
Ive used JB in the past as a quick fix for industrial pump applications, like 750hp pumps and it has worked on them so I have no doubt she'll hold.

Thanks for the alternate mounting suggestion bbb. Glad to hear my scope base screws are on their way two months after ordering the base. Hopefully this inspires a few people to buy a breacher or two from you knowing it isnt necessarily a gun smith job to install them and I hope they receive better CS than I did :D
