King Cobra

there are several version of the cobra, if its just 38 spl it could be an older version

The Colt Cobra was a lighten (aluminum frame) version of the Detective Special and came in .22lr, .32 New Police and .38 Special calibers. 2 or 3 inches barrel only.

The King Cobra was only made in .357 mag in brushed or bright stainless or the scarce royal blue finish. Barrel lenght were 2", 2.5", 4", 6", and 8".

Price I wrote in my earlier post were for a restricted 6" version of the King Cobra. Prohibs would sell for 30% to 40% less...

As mentioned above, they are nowhere near the level of the Pythons. Around here they range anywhere from $500-$600 with prohibs being slightly less.

sorry i retract my earlier statement, I got mixed up with how many variants there are.

I would not expect to find a King Cobra in good condition for less than $700 to $800. They are quality guns with a nice look and feel. That said, I might prefer the S&W Model 27.
