The PRS stock is something designed for a precision AR with a longer barrel, not a shorty. I would consider something else. Will look goofy in my opinion.

That is HUGE stock for 11.5" barrel, wonder will balance feel.

I'm going to see how the balance is.. its definitely not a typical stock/barrel setup but a friend of mine runs his like this and likes it so I figured I'd give it a shot.. (no pun intended)

If it doesn't 'feel' right then I'm going to switch it to a CTR or maybe just build another lower.

Parts suggestions are always welcomed guys! Everything listed is already purchased.. EOTech 3x FTS and Surefire S600C are on my future to-buy list also.

Trying not to over do it with the weight but its hard with all the nice toys out there for AR's these days!

Actually, the balance isn't as bad as you would imagine.

I had a PRS for a while, and tried a PRS equipped lower on a bunch of uppers with barrel lengths from 11.5" to 16", using std M4 handguards, Magpul MOEs, and even carbine and rifle length SIRs.

It certainly made the rifles heavier than, say a CTR equipped lower, but the rifles actually were easy to use (if you are a fan of bullpups, they would be perfect in terms weight distribution), and comfortable/adjustable.

Looks wise, they also didn't look too bad, quite space-age, especially with one of my Leupold CQTs attached.

I didn't take any photos unfortunately, but if you want to know what they would look like, go here:

and configure one.

The PRS will work fine. My wife has one on her AR w/ 12" barrel. She's pretty small to begin with and the rifle feels great to her (I find it handles pretty nice also). By the way, to OP, great set of parts you got there...definitely going to be a kick a$$ rifle.
