Just uninstalled my old vanilla mag release and opened the package and I'm sitting here twirling the old mag release. Then I try to twirl the KAC one, and it goes onto the threads two turns and stops.
The vanilla magazine release lug threads onto the KAC button no problem. Ergo, we can surmise that it uses the same threads and that those threads are functional.
The KAC mag release lug does not thread onto the KAC button or the vanilla button. Does not compute. The threads on the lug look fine, pristine even. Virgin threads, but it only gets about two rotations on there and stops. Strange.
Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?
