I’m eyeing a used custom 7mm-08 hunting rifle in a local shop. I see Gaulin 200 on the action. The shop owner says the stock is McMillan style fibreglass made by a guy in Ottawa. Not sure about the barrel. Does any of this make sense and if so what would you expect the value to be?

The Gaulin action was made in la belle province, Sherbrooke to be exact. Not sure if they are still in business or not. The fibreglass stock might be a Robertson Composites. If the action is stamped Gaulin TiT the action is made from titanium.

Both excellent , well made items. If someone went to the trouble of using those parts the barrel probably from a reputable maker too. No sense putting a crap barrel on a custom built rifle.

Without some more info on the specs or some photos it's really hard to put a credible price estimate on it.
