"Knoxx Recoil Shotgun Stocks Suck" by Nutnfancy

Had a Knoxx...got rid of it, hated it.

I didn't like the ergos and it didn't work with the oversized safety. Full stocks FTW!

Bit of a tangent here, but i just watched a video on the Compstock. In the comments, someone a little short on marbles asked if they would see a reduction in stopping power along with reduced recoil. I had a good chuckle at this answer:

I don't know if this is similar to a blackhawk stock but here's how it works

Your silly ass pulls the trigger, the round fires and all your fun pellets head towards the mean man.

The energy transferred to the shooter is displaced throughout a spring system within the stock.

You still have the same rearward energy, it's just being absorbed by something other than your body.

So there should not be a reduction in stopping power.

I have the Knoxx SpecOps stock on my Mossberg 835. It handles the 3.5" shells great. There is only one problem with the stock in my experience. If you have a bushy beard (I do), be VERY CAREFUL that it don't get caught in the recoil reduction mechanism! THAT HURTS!!!
