So about a week ago i received my Knoxx Recoil Reducing stock and i was able to get out to the range today to try out my new 870...
After attempting to fire about 50 rounds of number 7 shot my cheek was getting very sore.. Im not sure what it is as this has never happened before shooting hunting shot guns or rifles. It seems like when i place my cheek down on the stock to be able to get a good line of sight down the reciver and bead sight at the front, And making sure to have the stock extended out far enough so the receiver does not come back and hit me. The buffertube/shoulder piece it self seems to leap up and catch me right against the cheek? maby i should be using a different shooting style or more instinct shooting not attempting to use the bead site?
Has any one else experienced this? It may be connected but im having a problem with the slide coming back about an inch when i fire off rounds as well.. even after concentrating as hard as i can to push it forward? this seems to cause it to jam.. This may be some thing to do with my shooting style but it seems to jam alot.. I have an 870 express with the 2 round extension on the mag *which for some reason will only fit 6 in the tube not 7*
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
