Knoxx sidewinder drum mag for Rem 870?

I heard that Knoxx was going to offer their sidewinder 10rd drum mag in an "Gunsmith Installable" version for the Rem 870. I also heard the same for a 6rd mag. Any new info out there?

Knoxx no longer has the Sidewinder on it's web site.

One must assume that it's gone forever.

Hmmm.. That sucks. does anyone know if there is another conversion kit for the Rem 870 so it can take mags or drum mags??

I think with all the problems Knoxx ran into, no one else has tried. Too bad, as it is a neat idea, just like the new Grizzly that is heading this way.

The US Army, at Dahlgren, made an 870 that used mags, but it was impractical, the also used a Winchester 1300 too, it worked better. They also made a full auto 1100 at the same time.

AFAIK Knoxx was the only drum conversion.
