It's for a "pump" right? Of course it is legal... the mag (tube) limit of 5 is only for semi-auto firearms.

Now getting one in Canada will be another thing... good luck with that; it can be done, but you are going to pay an extra penny for it (basically get an importer to do it (i.e. Questar))

What you are saying is that if I have an 18" Remington 870 express (pump gun) with mag. extention (7 shot) I don't need to plug the mag?

You never had to plug a pump shotgun mag to be legal.

Perhaps you guys are getting confused with the "plug" that is required if you are hunting?

My REM 870 MM has never been plugged in it's life. Six 3" shells in the tube, one in the chamber... good times. Hunting water fowl on the other hand... I'd have some 'splaining to do.

About 'plugs' ...

Hunters are required in most provinces to plug their shotguns to 2 in the mag max FOR HUNTING only. It's a provincial law in each province.

A shotgun is a centerfire firearm - same as a rifle. The regs say no restrictions on rounds for centerfire firearms, except semis.

A pump shotgun can have a hundred round magazine if you can figure out how to do it

Reasonable price for the kit. Not sure if I'd want to mess with my mariner, or just buy another 500 in black.

If I was to buy another 12g just for a mag system, I might try find a Valtro with a handfull of magazines.

Alright, im just going to go for it and get the mag kit+3 extra mags, ill be sure to post a review, since i cant find anybody else having any info on it.

Its got points for coolness i think

ill also get a cop stock....cant wait!
