Knoxx Specops Stock Problem

Hey guys so I got a Knoxx Specops stock for my new Mossberg 500 for christmas but I cant get the Stock to work. It fits up nice to the gun but when I went to tighten the bolt that attaches the stock to the gun it will not work. I took a better look at the threads on the bolt and there too course compared to the threads on the receiver. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get that bolt out of the stock so i can replace it with a bolt with the right pattern. Theres no break down or manual about the stock that came with it. Any help would be great. I just got this Mossberg about a month ago, has anyone had similar problems with the new Mossberg 500s ?
 
I believe the Mossberg stock bolt is 1/4" fine thread.

You should not take the stock apart because of the spring that's used to control the recoil is stiff.

Did you check the pitich of the threads on the knoxx stock to the bolt from your old stock?

Take the trigger group, bolt out of the 500 attach the stok see if the bolt comes through to far, if I recall you should not overtighten the bolt.
