Knoxx stock owners - a small favor to ask...

If you own a Knoxx SpecOps recoil-reducing stock:
could you please grip your shotgun receiver, then grab the polymer handgrip part, and twist back and forth to see if there is any play between the two parts of the stock?

on a 12ga Knoxx SpecOps i have theres about a 1/4" of side-side play in the handgrip. im a bit worried since my 20ga version has no play at all -- and the last thing i want is to take a receiver to the face under 12ga recoil.

wondering if this is due to a factory defect, wear, or what?

i have a pic that shows the problem, but waiting to hear back from Knoxx and see how they handle it before i consider posting it. it might just be a defect.

No play in mine. May be a silly question but did you remove the spacer? When I first put my Knoxx RRS on my 870 I had to remove the metal spacer that was on the original stock.

^yeah, this has nothing to do with receiver:stock play. its wiggle between the aluminum block of the stock that bolts to the gun, and the polymer grip/stock.
