Hi-Point .45acp in my safe need to clean and fondle.
Will take it out to range next weekend. The gun beat the certificate from the RCMP!
Thanks Kodiak Outpost! 10 days from order to recieved. That is good, hope the gun shoots as good as the service.

I'm just processing an order on a "The Earl". The emails have been back and forth quickly and I just replied to the last detail he needed. He's good at this.... VERY good.

Kodiak is, without a doubt, one great company to deal with! I became an instant fan after my order was flawless from the first email to delivery.

You're right, prices are low and great service. I just wish they had a bigger selection.

From what I've seen he makes up for this by bringing in the oddball stuff that appeals to us fringe shooters. Cases in point are the (shudder) Hi Points, the NAA Black Widow, the current NAA "The Earl", the Heritage .22 SAA revolvers and the Bond derringers in big center fire calibers. Until recently he had some S&W PC 327 revolvers for sale that were to drool for. If I didn't already have three S&W's and other things on the "Too Buy" list I think I'd have bought one. Granted he doesn't have them in stock on a regular basis but given the difficulties in dealing with the US export system and the finicky nature of the Canadian shooting public I think he's done a superb job. I think I check his web site on at least a monthly basis in the hopes of finding something new that is well outside the mainstream.

Got my jhp .45acp to the range yesterday!! shoots as good as I can maybe better.
I am not sure why but it don't like reloads with hand cast lead bullets lee type with alox. now I have a giant task toget the lead out of the barrell.
I have made and shot thousands out of my norc commander and never a sign of leading. what the he##
Has anyone here tried handcast lead in a hi-point? or is it just a no-no for them?
Now I would like some advise as to removing the lead from the barrell. which particular chemical/solution/techniqe can anyone suggest. THANKS IN ADVANCE

What? When was this?

I guess those seven thousandths of an inch make a big difference, huh? ;)

Eh, I sent him a request for a quote and timeframe on a S&W PC revolver a week ago, havent heard anything back from him. Oh well.

I typically reply to every inquiry each day. Perhaps it was an oversight on my part or perhaps your junkmail filter intercepted my reply.

We are not expecting S&W PC revolvers for at least a couple months. I cannot quote any prices at this time because prices could very well change in the meantime. When we have some on the way I can give a better idea of price. As with all other S&W PC guns we have sold, they will be the lowest price in Canada.

Edit: Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated!

I got my Hi-Point 2 days after I'd EMTed Kodiac. I was in shock.

Even better, he followed up on getting me spare parts for my Hi-Point after some "unfortunate" mods on my behalf resulted in 8 rounds of ACP being ejected out of my still-new Hi-Point in around 1 seconds. The parts were worth practically nothing to Kodiac as far as profit is concerned, but they bent over backwards to get the parts to me.

The guys there are A-1, Top-Notch! They deserve our support. Matter of fact, I think I'll head over to their site right now and see if there isn't something there that'll tickle my fancy.... :D

Are you bringing a Smith & Wesson Model 627 V-Comp two tone in? If so, I'd like to possibly put a deposit on one.
