Korth are good people. I needed a replacement scope part for a discontinued optic and they responded right away.

There was no "pandemic" at the time however.

Give them some time. THey are trustworthy.

Has anybody been able to contact them at all in the last week or so ? They are supposed to be sending me a replacement rangefinder and I have heard nothing from them.

Lots of L products on the EE. They seem to be overwhelmed by warranty claims lately.

I had always received good service from Korth, both as a customer and as a dealer when I worked at a LGS.
Been a few years since I have had to talk to them.

As mentioned above, with this COVID-19 stuff going in, they are probably like everyone else right now, in reduced business hours and staffing. Leave a message and I am sure that they will get back to you as soon as they are able to.
Also, shipping is problematic right now with this pandemic too.

Korth and Leupold products are very trustworthy and will resolve your problems in a reasonable time frame. From personal and business experience Leupold products are one of the most reliable on the market. You don't hear as much about warranty issues as they break down less compared to others that often need warranty support. Phil.

Well of course. I don't believe any product or manufacturer is perfect. Just check the track record and remember how people really view the reliability and perceived value. I can count on almost one hand how many Leupold scopes we (business) have returned for any warranty repairs. I can't say the same for a few other lines we carry that have a strong following but the warranty is constantly referenced. Phil.

Hmm, are the defective optics supposed to go through dealer's hands before being returned for warranty service? That seem to be a new policy?

The first thing I read when I opened up new scopes was "In the event of a problem with this product do not return to the dealer".

It should still apply but there are still some that their problem is the dealer's, some even asking to have the dealer supply a replacement.

There are some new scopes we have found defective over the years when taking them out of the box either by us or the consumer and as we often do...we accept return of the "bad out of the box" products. Also we buy used optics from consumers either on their own or on a firearm. Seldom do we see problems with Leupold products. Phil.
