KPC Martial Arts, 10609 101 Street Northwest, Edmonton, AB
1(780)710-4222
Intro class, tuesdays and thursdays 7-8pm.
A CGNer on another thread recommended this place to me last week. I dropped by to check out one of their intro sessions tonight and I have to say it was rather interesting and enjoyable. There was a significant spread of people there, small people, tall people, young people, old people, skinny people, muscular people, men, women. It seems to me that's a great thing to have in a martial arts course because you're not always going to be confronted with someone the exact same size and physical condition as yourself.
Strangely enough there was a guy there that I grew up with on the other side of the country, and I haven't seen him in probably more than six years. We promptly started trying to stab each other
The instructor Randy King seems like a great guy, and I rather liked his teaching style.
The next round of classes starts in April, and I do believe I'll be signing up.
