Finally was able to get an action mounted in the June Go Big Tactical draw.
A shiny new KRG black chassis inleted for a rem700 pattern and a few extras arrived in the mail a couple months back and finally able to get out with it. I ended up picking up the adjustable buttpad, ARCA rail mount, extended mag release and a couple extras. The chassis has a nice feel to it and able to be adjusted so it actually fits you so you aren't struggling to get the cheek weld you want while trying to maintain shoulder pocket positioning.
The adjustable butt pad is soooo nice.... going from prone to standing to behind a bench causes the rifle to ride up or down on your shoulder, just a simple turn to loosen the tension then adjust it for maximum contact or your preference was a joy. Was even able to get a left hand shooter to feel comfortable behind it. The modularity also adds just that tweek so when you finally are ready to pull the trigger on a target the chassis is confirming to you instead of you bending around the rifle to make a shot.
Well worth the money if you are going that way. Make sure to give Tom at Go Big Tactical a shout for all the latest ideas on how to make the chassis fit you and feel more comfortable behind the trigger.
