Krico 260 semi auto

Can anyone tell me how the saftey works on this gun and also how you select single shot versus semi auto?

Thanks.

Before anyone asks :p, I think this is what it looks like :) :

It it's anything like a Stevens 87, there may be some place to depress the bolt-handle to "switch" between the semi and single?

I thought you already had it  ; did you get a good buy on it? :yingyang:

A tube-fed semi-auto .22 is seldom a bad purchase (If ever?).......

I had some difficulties with the Krico so I just got it today. Its a model 260 and I believe its an early model as there are some differences from the picture posted. The safety is on the bolt knob it rotates safe or fire. I can't figure out how it goes from semi to single shot. I have tried to push the bolt in but it won't go. Anyone have a manual for this rifle? I know they started making this model in 1962 and I found a 1963 that is configured the same as mine. Later ones are like the picture. I will post a picture when able.

Mine is a 1965 Krico 260 AL (5 shot magazine)

It does not have the single fire mode. The safety on this model is backwards to any other guns I have, the lever pushed forward is in the safety position.

I'm sure it's capable of better, more testing required...

Very nice, you have the deluxe model. I'll stop trying to figure the single fire out as I'm certain my rifle is around the same age as yours and so doesn't have it. Thanks for the reply.

Krico got back to me and it turns out I have a model 200 made in 1958. I didn't know there was a model 200. It doesn't have the single shot option. They also sent me an exploded view diagram.
