Ok, thanks for the replies, I've seen and handled what I believe are 300 series sporters, which seem like very well made rifles, however I'm looking at pictures of one that a seller sent me and when the bolt handle is locked down, the root of the bolt is just ahead of the trigger guard. On the 300 series, the bolt root, when locked down, is more centered in the trigger guard. That's why I'd like to know if they made a lesser/weaker action, more like the Anschutz Flobert action? Gorgeous mannlicher Chasseur! I'm definitely envious of that one, how does it shoot?
