We just paid for 72 Krieger barrels and once again have no money! There are other fine barrels(Bartlein, Brux, JC) all cut-rifles barrels but Krieger are still the most popular in BR and FClass. Additionally they are organized and reliable, this as the result of having been in business for years. Wait time is long, so we are happy that this order is on the way.

Small side question:

I see Krieger has AR-15 18" barrels that start out at 18.5" Anyway to order or finish them to end up at 18.5"?

There are many non-restricted options that use an AR-15 barrel but have to be at least 18.5" and hopefully rifle gas and not too heavy

Excellent barrels!
I'm running one on my Musgrave .308, shoots 1/4 MOA (or better, depending on the jerk on the trigger all day long.
Couldn't be happier!

if you do import, Jon Wolfe makes a nice 5R m1a med 22 barrel.

I have had a few clients ask about 22” and 18.5” Kreiger Medium profile barrels. Hirsch Precision is the place I tell them!!!

Here is Krieger's response to AR inquiry:

"The 18" we offer cannot be finished at 18.5", but the DCM can be cut back to 18.5" and rethreaded if need be. This is a more expensive option
But it can be done."

Hi Peter,

I was taking a look at Krieger's overstocked barrel list as suggested and I see that many M1A heavy pattern barrels are listed. A few are detailed as "M1A Hvy Mod". I'm assuming "mod" means modified? Can you elaborate on this? Thanks.
