Hello all,

I know that may be this is wrong place to post my question but at least here I probably may receive your answers :)

I am looking for Krinker Plinker Kit (Canadian version) with 16inch barell. I already put in EE under Rimfire my WTB request.

The question is: maybe someone know someone or some place where I can buy it. I checked already Fab Sports and Target Sports but they are out of stock. So only the hope to get it used from someone... I might be need even 2 kits. Or at least one :)

Help me with suggestion if anyone know where to look
Thank you :)

There are a lot of people that sell them, just have to look harder I guess.

You can get the collapsable one but you will have to weld/pin/something it to make it a fixed version.

The only place in Canada that sells the kit is Target Sports Center, who has a banner near the top[ of the webpage. Though they have been sold out for awhile and have no plans of getting more stock. I researched this about 3 weeks ago because I wanted to buy one so i will tell you all I know.

FAB only sells the barrel and front sight, he does not sell the Krinker kit. Neither does Questar, they stopped selling them. Which leaves Target Sports, I telephoned Target Sports and he told me that the maker of the Krinker kits is a guy in Ohio, the guy in Ohio no longer wants to deal with all the paperwork of trying to export the kits into Canada, so he will no longer do it.

Which means, the only way to get a kit is to buy one used here in Canada. I actually made the same post as this weeks ago and one of the members here send me a private message telling me he would seel his Krinker to me used, that is how I got mine.

The most common Krinker in Canada is the 16 inch version, but you can always do what I did, just go to FAB and order the 8.5 inch barrel, then go to TAC Shot and order a flash suppressor, such as the Yankee Hill Phantom. After you pin the folding stock it turns into a sweet little rifle in my opinion.

So the only way to get a Krinker for a long time is to find one used, buy since they are fast becoming a rare item now that you can no longer buy them, the prices are increasing and not many are for sale anymore.

You could always get one of the AR 15 type kits that fit onto a Ruger 10/22. There pretty slick looking IMHO.

I have one that I had originally kept for myself... complete with the 10/22, the Krinker Plinker kit and all 3 barrels (original 10/22 barrel plus the 16" and 8" Krinker Plinker kit barrels. I think there was a mag or two and a really cheap red dot. I haven't looked at it in ages but when we were importing them I put one together for myself and never really did anything with it.

If you're interested send me an email and I'll sell you the whole thing...
