Krinker Questions

So I have heard of the change the stock with the 8" barrel every 29 days trick to keep these unrestricted. Is this a cold hard fact?

Can I use my krinker with an 8" barrel and folder for gophering during those 29 days or while the folder is on it do I have to treat it like a restricted and shoot at the range only?

I am sure this has been beat to death a few times, but I have read the pertinent threads and it stills seems ambiguous to me.

It's restricted regardless of what the reg says unless you switch the folder to a fixed when you wanted to take it out in the bush. order a wood AK stock for it on those NR days out.
