Kriss is in the mail

I hate Canda Post.

They shipped it right past me, I am in the GTA, and they shipped it from a location about an hour away from me, to a location several hours from me, and took 4 days to do it, and it probably won't even arrive until monday at best.

Mine was put in the mail on the 25th, with a delivery date of the 26th.

Here is the tracking....

Just fondel my budies 45 ACP Kriss and got to say 3 things I liked were:
Butt stock rocks! Simple, plain, yet perfectly set-up for this rig.
  1. All the great placement for your bolt & mag release plus charging handel.
  2. The stock MI flip iron sights that come with it. Very nice and complent this SMG perfectly. (Although I would switch it to tritium inserts)
Three things I disliked about it were:
  1. The barrel shroud. Honestly??? Me personaly I would prefer a thicker barrel and a muzzle brake would be a big plus. I guess it does look cool but I am more about fit & function over looks. yet right. Laugh2
  2. The trigger isn't as smooth as I thought from a rig in this price range.
  3. The poor finish on the the metal rails. Lots of maching marks and again not something I would expect from a rig in this price range.
All in all if it was 9mm I would defenatly drop a couple of dimes to get this rig. As I am a huge fan of SMG's in 9mm. Lots of balistic reasons but mostly it has to due with my personal preferance. Although since it isn't well I guess I will just have to borrow it from him time to time tell they release one in 9mm.
Oh ya guys...

Well gentlemen, she showed up yesterday afternoon. I took er apart, looked around inside, ran a bore snake through it and uh......pounded about 225 rounds of 230 gr. round nose through her. I had one failure to feed when a round stove piped in the magazine early on, but that was it. Also, one of my mags doesn't lock the bolt back but the other four do. My only complaint thus far is the trigger. It's a straight pull setup which is great. But it's long, gritty and heavy; reminds me of the Steyr AUG. Here's praying JP Enterprises makes a trigger for it! The recoil comes almost completely back towards you. Shooting biathlon style I was only lifting the front post a couple of inches above the bull at 50m during recoil. Shooting Costa and Hale style I was initially pushing the follow up shot low when doing controlled pairs. Normally that would mean go faster but the a fore mentioned trigger got in the way. With a trigger job you could probably dispense with controlled pairs and just double tap the Kriss. One last thing; some people complain about the high grip being unnatural. I can't say I noticed, even a little.

Mine arrived on Friday.....here are some pics (from another thread)...
