Kriss Vector 45 Gen 1 Upgrades

Hi everyone, I now have a restricted gen 1 vector coming my way, and I wanted to see if anyone has had experiences upgrading them. I’ve heard lots about the gen 1 trigger, and while I’ve shot the gen 2 a lot and was fine with that one, what are my options for upgrading the gen 1? Are there many choices in Canada, and what’s the compatibility like? I see lots of USA companies offering trigger packs.

My other thought was to get a muzzle device, not so much for the recoil but to add an inch onto the 5.5 barrel. Has anyone seen any good ones for a muzzle brake or flash hider? From the Kriss site it says the 45 acp thread is M16x1 LH.

I also bought this airsoft mag release extension since I always drop the mag while shooting, I have little faith it’ll actually work but I’ll update here when I try it. Thanks everyone!

Yeah... You are pretty S.O.L. Maybe try and see what A.z.tech Armory (remove the periods) has/can import for them, put it'll cost ya and you won't see them before December probably.

Yeah I figured as much. Just took it to the range today, trigger and muzzle is fine on their own. I will vouch for any future users the airsoft mag release works beautifully on my 45 caliber, much more natural and easier then the original. Thanks for the help though!
 
How many gen 1s are there in Canada? I’d love to get a restricted one eventually, the gen 1s look way better imo A.z.tec armoury and Irunguns are the only ones I know who import parts from the US so those are probably the best

It was pretty rare for me to find one off GP for the used market, over the last 5 months I saw about 6 up for sale that were SBR and they were all Gen 2.1 except for this one I bought. I did end up using IRG for my aftermarket’s and got some kriss extended magazines too
