KRISS Vector CRB Gen 1 in A-TACS Arid Urban finish and some custom accouterments

This example came to me with a camouflage finish that appears to have been professionally applied but I assume it's non-standard, still looking a little plain so I've jazzed things up a little.

The original barrel shroud has been removed and an airsoft tracer unit based on the Obsidian45 was machined internally to slip over the barrel in its place, secured with a set screw. The rail is a "Helix Axem" 12" unit that's sold as an airsoft accessory but is extremely solid and hard anodized, and fit without modification. Magazine is a 10/26 KCI and the sight is a SPARC AR.

Looks great! that rail is slick the only problem with airsoft is the grade of aluminum they use which could be a issue depending on the intended role that fine rifle might have.
Total weight?

Thanks! In this case the manufacturer claims it's 6061 and it's fairly substantial in terms of thickness.

Total weight?

We're at 4.1kg / 9 lbs without the magazine, that's a full pound heavier than what is quoted for the .45 ACP Gen 2

Depending on what country that was manufactured in 6061 is not alwasys the same quality. For instace in my eperience Chinease 6061 is closer to cottage cheese then it is to North American 6061. Its not about the weight or thicknes its the hardness, many prodcuts Ive experieced are too soft and distort and bend/crack easily

It does look good on there though, just the color stands out a little, would be better if it matched some of the colors in the camo or even black IMO

That's where it came from, here is the link - around 190 CAD including shipping and customs fees

I agree, there will definitely be some cerakoting somewhere down the line.

Awesoem, thanks! I'm actually looking for a handguard to modify for my GHM9 to do a fake suppressor. Was trying to find a good airsoft source rather than cut up an expensive real firearm handguard.

So here is a Kriss vs Kriss yes both are by the same company.
one with the fun selector is Airsoft and is a sweet unit! Can on it is a tracer unit it’s a light show.
The forgrip is from LayLax and they offer other forgrips and items for the Vector in there line up . https://www.laylax.com/en/products/list.php?category_id=155
Sorry have not fitted it to the 9mm unit above so unsure re fit. Quick check with a calliper and it looks to all line up.
It’s alum and is quite strong well made.
Forgrip on the 9 is a Kriss and top quality.

Oh man that Gen1 that a sweet camo finish!
Also a fan of the folding stock. Wish I had it.
What cal is it?
One thing happened to the Airsoft stock it was dropped onto the stock and it broke at the swivel point where it locks together.
Not sure if same material is used between real vs Airsoft . But I was pissed (polymers ?)
Also saw this coming soon https://www.strikeindustries.com/si-kv-hg-bk.html
