hey just aquired a non restricted kriss vector gen 2 and before it arrives i would like to know what others have done to theirs?

are there other stocks available? i see some photos that have a simpler looking "bar" stock?

best ammo to feed these? will it function with norc 45?

foregrips?

is there anyway to extend the front rails out over the barrel to add more "realestate" for mounting?

any info would be great

cheers

I have the restriced model. Only thing I have added in an optic and a Magpul RVG. I'm a big believer of leaving your sh*t stock as it comes from the factory unless it breaks. There is a video on youtube of a gentleman who modded a troy alpha rail to mount over his barrel shroud which was very impressive looking. I put 200 rounds of norc .45 through mine and had no hiccups. Mine has been reliable with every type of .45 I've put through it, it looks like Kriss has finally worked out all the kinks.

Eotech, these things (R OR NR version) with an eotech is a match made in heaven!

mine loves Norc 45, it hates S&B.

I also run a magpul fore grip, RVG I believe.

You are going to love that gun

Awesome! Took it out to the range today and put 150 rounds of norc and blazer. Was great out to 30 yards with irons. Gonna mount a red dot on for now but the Midwest industries irons are top notch on it. Really don't like the vertical grip but I will try my hand at making a AFG work.

I could see how rails on the left side would mangle some skin

Any idea what flash light fits in the hole above the barrel?

Cheers

I had a non restricted model but sold it.
I had a flashlight in the provided hole and as has been said the rail on the left us useless as you will skin your knuckles when operating the charge handle. I had a stubby grip out front and tried it with a longer one with the bipod that pops out.
There really isn't much need to weigh it down with a bunch of crap on side rails. A flashlight or laser in the hole above the barrel is about all I ever felt it needed. Keep it light for offhand shooting and enjoy it.
My biggest complaint with it was the lack of sling points and I ended up buying a Magpul RSA and using a single point with it.
An EoTech is perfect on these as has been mentioned.

Mine shot all ammo well once I used oil rather than gun grease.
I had a couple handloads built for it and was hitting the gong at 200yds with the iron sights once I figured out where to aim. Surprisingly it didn't require that much compensation.

Fun rifle with a really cool design but I got bored and sold it to buy another AR.

This is my idea of a great front grip on it

Was a 2 I had kicking around from a shotgun build. Busted out the hack saw and file an this is what I ended up with. Easy to operate mag release with minimal hand movement and feels better to me than a RFG
