Anybody know where there I can find an extractor for an 1886 steyr krop? I checked with the usual suspects down south & have struck out thus far. Come on, tell where the hidden stash is. Please?

As far as I know there is no " hidden " stash of kropatschek parts. I have two so I can swap parts if needed. Depending on your sources only 50 or 60 or 70 thousand of the rifles, colonial rifles, short rifles and carbines were made altogether so what with the usual wear and tear the survivability rate is inknown but less remain now than originally manufactured. Your best bet may to be to buy a battered or worn sepcimen and use it as a parts source . I know this sounds extravagant but may be the only course available to you. There may be some collectors of these rifles who have a stash of spare parts but they may not be as generous as some of the folks I have bought Ross parts from. Sorry I can't be of more help. I would imagine that an internet search may help but it could take awhile. Good luck! Joe
