Mythbusters did a show on bent rifle barrels where they bent 10/22 barrels in increments up to 180°. IIRC base velocity was just over 1200 fps and was reduced to 975 fps @ 180°. The bullet penetrated their ballistic gel block and chipped the bullet resistant glass behind it every time. I think it passed through 12 or 13" of gel. Interesting stuff.
