My friend and I took out two brand new KSG's right out of the box, well.... they were broken down and cleaned first... then we started running wally world special white box winchester 12 guage bird shot through them. After the KSG's got warmed up, we both experianced FTE's.

I ran a bunch of federal.... well... 10 slugs with no problem.

Anyone have any problems with the white box cheap crap? There are a few reviews that say it's the cheap alluminium casing on the round that heats up and gets soft, but I want to hear from KSG owners that have had this happen. Is federal the best rounds to feed this beast?

Cheers

Both my Gen 1 and Gen 2 KSG's have no issues with low brass , but low aluminum are sticky. The stickieness goes away with use. Just keep shootin !

there is nothing special about a KSG chamber vs any other chamber. What I have found is that crap aluminum junk can randomly lock up in slick polished well worn chambers on any gun. I think a chromed chamber may help, but I don't have any guns with chromed chambers. It's also an individual gun issue. You can't say that because one KSG functions reliably 100% of the time with aluminum shells that all will, nor can you say that because one KSG sticks that they will all stick. In fact the issue has nothing to do with any shotgun, it is simply an issue with those cartridges, and I think the damn things should be boycotted so that the companies stop making it. But that ain't gonna happen.... just wishful thinking.

I have a KSG and i shot buckshot and slugs and have never had a jam, the only time i have had any issues is when i don't rack the chamber hard enough.... fun gun and with great accuracy...
