Howdy, just got myself a KS7 and i'd love to find a KSG top rail to replace the fugly carry handle. Anyone seen these in the wild?

TIA

Keltec doesn’t ship to Canada anymore. Aug 2nd I got this message from them “We are not currently equipped for international sales of firearm components or accessories. If you have received parts in the past, we are implementing a new policy and conducting all international sales through distributors now. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

So vault has to bring it in.... Ugh.

I ordered the extended rail by Hi-tech custom online from amazon.COM. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HAPJO32?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

pretty happy with it. I do have a problem though, I can't get the screws holding the carry handle in place out to do the swap. Anyone else having difficulty with removing the carry handle? Any tips or tricks? the last thing I want to do is strip the heads.

They're probably loc-tited in, if you have a soldering iron you could heat the screw's head up a bit to soften the loc-tite, then unscrew them, otherwise it'll take a bit of force to overcome the adhesive.

ETA

I'm pretty sure the carry handle is plastic so I wouldn't use a heat gun or torch or anything like that. A soldering iron can very specifically heat up the screw itself and not touch the carry handle. If not you could maybe try heating up the right size screw driver in the oven (or a torch) then grab it with pliers and hold it in the screw head to warm up the screw.... Usually loc-tite just needs a good constant torque and it'll pop.
