Kwik rail on SKS and low sitting scope

After I finally installed kwik rail on my SKS I have realized that my scope is sitting too low. I installed 1" High rings but still, the gap between rail and eyepiece is about 1mm. Any suggestions? Thx.

I have to ask what is the size of the scope you are using?

I think your scope is a tad big for that set up or will need some very high rings.

The SKS is a carbine and my own preference is to keep the setup compact with a smaller optic.



I realize that doesn't quite answer the question you are asking, but perhaps someone with experience in mounting a larger optic on the rail will chime in here.

I know its been done, check the other KwikRail threads. My guess is some very high rings.

Thx, I think I will add picatinny raiser and will see how it works.

Use Russian 3.5 PU scope with 1 inch tube they are light with superb optics. Build like a Russian tank
