About 25 years ago I became enamored with getting an 1895 Winchester in 35 Winchester. I freely admit to being a Fudd and every gunshow I attended I was looking for ammunition for the 35. After considerable time I accumulated six 10 round boxes of Kynoch 250 grain soft points. A couple years ago I found a 95 in 35 Winchester and have been using the Kynoch stuff sparingly. It seems to be good quality stuff, still works fine though manufactured in the 1950's. Dominions old catalogues show it listed as made especially for the Canadian market by Kynoch.
Just wondered if anyone here has used Kynoch sporting loads on game? Apparently popular in Africa.

I wish I could tell you how it performs in the field but any of the Kynoch ammunition I have used over the years performed just fine in any rifles I used it in for informal shooting purposes. If Kynoch ammo has a good reputation in Africa on game there I wouldn't hesitate to use it on our game species here in Canada.
I have NOS RCBS dies in 35 Winchester and might add one to the cabinet one of these days if a suitable candidate pops up.
