I was surfing Epps web site the other day and happened across the link to the Puma Carbine in .454 Casull but no pricing was available, any other sourcing out there for this little thumper?

Caldwells in North Vancouver is the Canadian importer for LSI Puma rifles...

Have your local gun dealer call them for price and availability...

Sorry for the hi-jack, but I was just wondering about the pumas. I have never handeled one, how is the fit/finish? ive heard they are slick little guns and seem to be popular with CAS shooters.

Just got an opinion on the Puma from a local gunsmith who does not have a favourable view on them as they are a cheaper repro on the Win. M-92 and do not hold a candle to even the Browning 92 repro but as usual a cheaper made gun is usually a cheaper priced gun as is the case here but not by much. But the case made here for the Puma is that it's the only 92 chambered for the .454 Casull that does apparently handle the enormous working pressures of that cartridge. So the end goal here is to carry like cartridges for long and short barrels.Know what I mean?

My buddy bought one last year in 454 Casull.

It's a well made decent looking Rifle, came with some kind of "true glo" sights that work great. It's stainless with "Black stocks"

He shoots very "Stout" loads as he has several Freedom Arms Revolvers in same as well. The Rifle has digested everything he has fed it with No probs.

If I was gonna buy another Levergun in a Pistol round I'd give the Puma in 454 some serious consideration:cool:

I was thinking of getting rid of my marlin 1894 in 44 for one of these, they look sweet! I really like the idea of 454 in a lever gun, then you don't have to ge to a 45-70!!
