I was wondering if anyone knows of a scope mount for an l-frame smith (a 586 dash nothing 6") that requires no gunsmithing. I know when I bought it in 86 or 87 you could get a barrel weight/comp that fit onto the double rib barrel and I think I remember some thing similiar for a scope mount. I want to put a red dot on this revolver for steel matches etc any ideas or links or maybe an old one sitting around collecting dust. I do not want to drill and tap as the revolver is still all original except for grips and an action job.
