I have been looking around for some time now for a compact pump or semi-auto 12G. I had a Winchester Defender some years ago and it filled the bill perfectly for a fishing buddy (bears are like rabbits around here - LOTS!). Back in my younger days, I used to sling it across my back and jump on my mountain bike and peddle to the fishing hole. Never actually had to shoot a bear with it, but I did use it to scare a few away. With that said, I sold it many years ago and have regretted it since.
The past few months I have been searching for a replacement. I was looking at the Kel-Tec KSG and a couple other similar platforms. Then I discovered the LA-K12 PUMA. After some research (very little out there on it), I figured I would pick one up. It made sense as it looks to be the big cousin of my T97. The two guns look virtually identical when you have the T97.ca upper on the T97. From the youtube video I watched, the two designs are very similar. Somebody jumped the fence and snuck in for a quick poke?
Has anyone here already purchased and shot the LA-K12 PUMA yet? If so, please post your experience. I ordered mine today and hope to have it by the end of the week. Lever Arms has the exclusive rights to it in Canada and can only be purchased from them at this time. Fortunately, Lever Arms is in BC so I should receive it timely.
