I'm always wondering about the MC 1911 C in 9mm with red dot. Wondering how they shoot, how they hold up, etc.
Also wondering why no one carries the 9mm, is it really that frowned upon to have a 1911 in 9mm?

I picked one up about 2 months ago. Really happy with it although i haven't fired more than 400 rounds through it. Only other handguns that i have fired were the cz75 p07 and a couple of glocks and compares well for someone with limited handgun experience. Trigger is.. well a 1911 trigger and everything is pretty tight. Its not a Colt, SA or DW but im more than happy with it.

The Norinco got smoother after 1000 rounds, but 45acp ain't cheap.

I would stay away from the Chiappa and get a Ruger instead. I have owned both and I still have the wrangler. I found that the Chiappa was a rattling piece of pot metal.
