Labradar LX - Garmin

Id like to try one but heard some grumblings about Labradar support and the app over the years I was on the fence. I did reach out to them a while back about loaner units for freelance writers but they said they would all be going to “staff writers”.

I’d love to support a Canadian company. The staff writers and sponsored shooters are opinions I can’t help but take with a grain of salt because I’ve been burned by them in the past in the optics word.

I do keep eyeing them up in your webstore 😅 just need to finish paying for a wedding then maybe it’s on the list. As I’d love to compare it to the Garmin. (Which I ended up with simply because I got one at a discounted price.)

I wanna see someone take both units to a prs match and just allow shooters to test and try each to compare. Be a fun exercise.

(Edited for clarity of writing as I re read it and things weren’t explained the best.)

We sold 253 Labradars with very few issues. They were and continue to be a beneficial piece of kit for reloaders.

There are other reviews and we also look forward to more input.

I agree it’s an amazing tool and does have some features that I like. If I had the option to get both locally without shipping costs and no discount I’d have one already.

Seeing Rob Furlong and yourself represent these units tells me they work well.

If that tax man is good to me I will increase your units sold by 1.

Hey Peter,

Just wondering what your experience with the newer LX unit is so far? Still on the fence about grabbing one and comparing it to the Garmin. As I would like to support a Canadian company.

Hi:

Long time shooter that looks after our bunker has been using one for a few moths. Reliable and easy to use. Also, guaranteed when affixed to a rifle.

Peter
