Recently my Labradar kept shutting down after shots, I set my Labradar about 6 inches apart from my muzzle, and out of 10 rounds about half of the times it would track perfectly, the other half of the times it tried to track the bullet then auto restart. I'm shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor and my muzzle brake pushes the gas directly to the sides, I've also been shooting at around 0 degrees recently. Can someone help me out on this one?

The user manual explains how to use the device when shooting with a muzzle brake. The rear portion of your brake should be 6-8 inches in front of the unit.

I'm puzzled by the auto restart part, you might have a problem there.

As for muzzle position, as already mentioned the brake should be ahead of the unit.

I now use a RAT trigger with my unit and don't have to worry about muzzle position. Best upgrade for the radar by far. No missed shots, no accidental activations either. You can also have the radar well away from any muzzle blast so should help with longevity too.

I had a similar problem. Turned out to be a bad power cable and a replacement cord fixed my problem. The customer support suggested I try the unit with AA battery power to see if the issue still happened.

Mounting the unit above or below the muzzle will work as well. That was the recommendation from Labradar back when I first got mine.

I had a similar issue when the battery pack was low. When fully charged no restarts occurred. I have also had great success with placing the unit back beside the action approx 6 inches away (6.5 CM with EC Tuner) I have used it with both the RAT and doppler trigger with equal success.

Mine will turn off sometimes, I feel it's my power cable is a bit loose in the radar and it loses connection
