I have been looking at ladderstands since the last hunt and have narrowed things down to this as a likely option. Also with the safety harness and line.

Do harnesses/lines ever come on sale?
Would you recommend this stand?
Are there acccesories avail to secure your rifle up there?
Is the stand secure/comfortable?
Easy to set-up/take down?
Anyone fallen off? lived? Whats the safest way to do that
Are there other systems with 2 man capacity that you recommend more in a similar budget?


I am 5'10 about 190lbs, most of the guys at the camp are my size or a bit shorter. Would this be the stand were looking for?, down the road we would like to introduce our mature kids to hunting is their room for 2 adults in these?

Even the two man ones are kind of tight for seating room and elbow space. I would get a hang on and mount it next to or above the seat in the ladder stand...unless you are really good buddies lol. Treestands usually come with a harness btw. A nice touch is to have a rope from top to bottom with a prussic knot, or two if there is gonna be two hunters up there.
